AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Legal Counsel for employment in Panama City, Panama or Colombia  Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Latin America legal team. The selected individual will be responsible for providing strategic advice and comprehensive legal support to engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects across the region, ensuring legal and contractual compliance in accordance with international standards and corporate policies.This role requires a combination of strong legal judgment, commercial acumen, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple disciplines and jurisdictions in a dynamic and multicultural environment. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Advise on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of engineering, construction, and consulting contracts in various LATAM countries.</li><li>Identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks throughout the different project phases.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee legal matters in collaboration with technical, financial, and project management teams.</li><li>Manage external legal advisors and represent the company’s interests before clients, partners, and local authorities.</li><li>Ensure alignment with global policies and ethical and compliance standards.</li><li>Draft and review contractual documentation in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.</li><li>Actively participate in internal decision-making and legal approval processes.</li></ul>
