This position will be based at the BorgWarner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility in Hendersonville, NC.  BorgWarner is currently looking for a creative, nimble problem solver with a holistic view that has excellent people skills to join a highly collaborative team and build the Quality group for a new industrial product greenfield facility. The Quality Manager is responsible for iterating on and maintaining the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as it relates to the industrial product market and implementing measures to achieve a flawless launch of a cutting-edge product on an accelerated timeline in order to be the first to market as well as obtain product leadership.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure all products consistently meet defined specifications, actively promoting a Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) mindset.</li><li>Develop and sustain / foster a Problem-solving culture.</li><li>Solid Problem-Solving skills a must, experience in 8D, Shainin Red-X or similar preferred.</li><li>Lead Quality event Root Cause/Corrective Action investigation and timely resolution.</li><li>Develop, mentor, and empower a growing team responsible for internal quality assurance, process improvement, and supplier and customer quality management.</li><li>Develop, utilize, and maintain critical quality documentation, including Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Quality Plans, and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
