From automated milking systems and intelligent feeding technology to digital tools for herd management – GEA supports farmers around the globe in increasing productivity, improving animal welfare, and promoting sustainable agriculture.Responsibilities / Tasks- Global Herd Management Support<ul><li>Provide expert guidance on herd management topics and support the use of GEA software solutions (e.g., DairyNetBox, CowScout, CattleEye)</li><li>Advise on feeding strategies and performance optimization, especially after the implementation of automated milking and feeding systems</li><li>Offer hands-on support during system commissioning and beyond</li></ul>- Training &amp; Knowledge Sharing<ul><li>Conduct international training sessions and contribute to the development of learning formats, from e-learning modules to webinars</li><li>Help create, maintain, and update training materials and digital content</li></ul>- Communication &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Collaborate closely with internal departments, global herd managers, and service specialists</li><li>Handle service requests via ticketing systems and ensure timely, effective solutions</li></ul>- Project Work &amp; Innovation<ul><li>Participate in development projects aimed at improving herd management processes and digital solutions</li><li>Support the creation of technical documentation, guidelines, and presentations</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>A degree in agricultural sciences with a focus on cattle, veterinary science or a comparable agricultural qualification</li><li>First professional experience in herd management or similar</li><li>Additional practical expertise in feeding or breeding is a plus</li><li>A proactive, customer-focused mindset and the ability to work independently</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills, and a collaborative spirit</li><li>Curiosity, openness or experience in working with AI-based tools and technologies to enhance herd management and decision-making</li><li>Strong English skills (spoken and written); other languages are a bonus</li><li>Willingness to travel internationally on occasion</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>A dynamic international work environment with exciting challenges</li><li>35-hour full-time work week with flexible hours (flextime)</li><li>Salary and benefits are based on the applicable collective labor agreement</li><li>Comprehensive onboarding and continuous learning opportunities</li><li>30 days of vacation</li><li>Company bike leasing program</li><li>On-site cafeteria, health initiatives &amp; employee discounts (Corporate Benefits)</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
