We are a team of 30+ data scientists, agronomists, engineers, and operators, including leaders in NASA’s SAR program, with decades of expertise in remote sensing and GHG modeling.Role Description:<ul><li>Develop / support process-based model simulations of management practices (i.e., seeding, irrigation, residue, fertilizer) and environmental outcomes</li><li>Quantify cropland GHG emissions, SOC, and yield across small holder farms in S Asia</li><li>Integrate control vs treatment landscape experiments into model simulations working with field data and science team</li><li>Support carbon credit quantification and MRV metrics</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>1+ years experience in crop modeling such as DSSAT or APSIM</li><li>Masters (or PhD) level knowledge with crop model applications (parameterization, simulations, evaluations)</li><li>Knowledge of basic agriculture and soil science principles, climate, and agri-management practices. Interest in evaluating impact of management practices on GHG, SOC, and yield.
