<h3> <img src="https://workablehr.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/photos/128656/c2138ee38b43552527aecb69c72ab26f.png" style="width:759.7191476366722px;height:auto;"> Skeleton's Engineering Department is looking for a driven and experienced </h3><h3>Hardware Engineer (m/f/x).</h3>Your responsibility areas:<ul><li>Define electronics functionality and translate system-level requirements into detailed hardware specifications (100+ devices per year).</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, cost targets, and customer expectations throughout the development cycle.</li><li>Conduct risk, reliability, and redundancy analyses (e.g., FMEA, FTA).</li><li>Develop electronics concepts, select components, and design schematics, PCB layouts, wiring, and interfaces to meet functional, EMC/EMI, environmental, and manufacturability requirements.</li><li>Perform electrical simulations and testing to verify system behaviour and support DFM/DFT activities with manufacturing partners.</li><li>Prepare and maintain documentation, including design logs, reports, manuals, and production files.</li><li>Support hardware quality through validation testing, specification writing, and close cooperation with test engineers.</li><li>Define and validate end-of-line (EoL) testing, including equipment, fixtures, and software requirements; analyse yield data and failure modes to drive improvements.</li><li>Collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve design or process issues and support troubleshooting when needed.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with internal product, engineering, and production teams, guiding product build as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>At least 5 years of experience in electronics design for small-series or larger production.</li><li>Hands-on experience transitioning designs into manufacturing, including DFM/DFT, industrialization, and test setup.</li><li>Practical know-how in EoL testing, yield and failure analysis, and continuous improvement during production ramp-up.</li><li>Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, mechanics, testing, production).</li><li>Strong skills in schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, simulation, prototyping, and testing.</li><li>Proficiency in Altium Designer or a comparable ECAD tool; experience with LTspice, Matlab, or similar simulation software.</li><li>Ability to prepare documentation and reports; basic data analysis skills in Excel or similar tools.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or embedded systems.</li><li>Good verbal and written English.</li><li>Proactive, detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn and improve.</li></ul>Benefits<ul> <li>We offer flexible working hours, with the possibility of mobile working without core working hours and sufficient freedom for your own ideas.</li> <li>A flat hierarchy culture - fostering our great working atmosphere.</li> <li>A motivating opportunity for continuous growth at Skeleton.</li> <li>An additional day off every year for your birthday. </li> </ul>We're not just about energy storage.
