In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving highly automated production equipment critical to our Body in White conveyors , assembly, and robotics operations. You will work hands-on with advanced mechatronics, robotics, electrical systems, and conveyance equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime, safety, and reliability.</p><p><strong>This role will support 2nd shift which varies between 4pm - 5am</strong>. </p><p>You will: </p><ul><li>Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all production and mechatronics equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair production-down equipment quickly and efficiently.</li><li>Operate and repair every cell on a production line within Body in White.</li><li>Perform corrective maintenance on multiple equipment types, including: Electrical systems (24 VDC to 480 VAC, 3-phase),Mechanical and conveyance systems, Hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC/network controls and robotics systems</li><li>Conduct in-depth diagnostics, component replacements, and calibration on automation and mechanical systems.</li><li>Order necessary parts, supplies, and equipment through proper inventory/sourcing channels.</li><li>Document maintenance actions and communicate equipment status with production, engineering, and leadership teams.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety standards—modeling safe work habits and maintaining a clean, organized work area.</li></ul><p> </p><p>You Bring: </p><ul><li>4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, or equivalent education/training.</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, schematics, and precision measurements.</li><li>Proficient troubleshooting skills across: Electrical/electronic systems, Mechanical/machining systems, Automation/PLC/robotics, Laser welding &amp; dispense systems</li><li>Able to analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues, determine root cause, and implement long-term solutions.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Able to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.</li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
