AECOM is seeking a Cost Engineer for an immediate opportunity at our Honolulu, HI. The Cost Engineer reports to the Change Order - Estimating Manager and responsibilities include assisting and providing the documentation as below:  <ul><li>Identify Change Orders with client’s Contract Services Unit.</li><li>Assist in scoping of Field Condition Change Orders.</li><li>Produce Engineer’s Estimates for Field Condition Change Orders.</li><li>Assemble Contract Change Request packages for scope approval.</li><li>Issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs) via client EPMIS system.</li><li>Produce independent estimates for non-field condition Change Orders to check validity of Engineer-of-Record produced Engineer’s Estimates. </li><li>Reviews contractor’s estimates.</li><li>Act as the lead in the negotiation of Change Orders.</li><li>Package negotiation documents.</li><li>Respond to auditor questions/comments.</li><li>Update change order logs as process steps take place.</li><li>Attend monthly internal change order update meetings and monthly change order update meetings with Contractor(s).</li><li>Other assignments as determined &amp; directed by the Change Order Manager / Estimating Manager.</li></ul>
