Our record USD 4.6 billion order backlog and strong book-to-bill ratio reflect long-term confidence in our mission and solutions.Join us at Landis+Gyr, where we manage energy better! Welcome to Landis+Gyr!  We're at the forefront of the energy industry revolution - let's build a brighter energy future together!   Landis+Gyr is seeking an undergraduate Co-op student to start in May 2026 through the end of July 2026.  This is the first semester of a 3-semester rotation commitment so working approximately 40 hours per week Monday through Friday on-site at our Alpharetta, GA location, returning to school the following semester, returning to work the next semester, etc.  This is a paid position but we don’t offer a housing allowance or relocation assistance so local students are preferred.  Masters level students will not be considered.  Project Overview •    Perform mechanical system and component design utilizing solid modeling CAD tools under the guidance of the Project Engineer or Supervisor •    Create detailed drawings of parts and assemblies utilizing CAD tools •    Calculate and lay out dimensions, angles, curvature of parts, materials to be used, and relationship of various parts to entire structure •    Generate BOMs and ECOs •    Interact with suppliers to procure, deliver and implement parts and designs   Objectives/Responsibilities •    Candidate is interested in mechanical engineering product design and processes •    Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university •    Interested in completing multiple work terms; work terms alternate with school semesters. •    Have completed or working towards completing an engineering graphics CAD class •    Experience in Windows applications including Microsoft Office •    Good written and verbal communication skills •    Ability to provide thorough attention to detail   Education/Experience Undergraduate student seeking a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Student must be able to work fulltime hours on-site for 3 rotating semesters - Summer 2026, Winter/Spring 2027, and Fall 2027.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.   We're committed to shaping a better future for everyone. #EnergizeYourCareer and join us on our journey towards a greener tomorrow.
