We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Electrical Installation Engineer.Xylem is seeking an Electrical installation Engineer to join our rental team based out of our Nottingham facility to carry out installation of WSS (rental focussed) equipment with focus in the Midlands and surrounding areas.The Electrical Installation Engineer will be responsible for install, commission, service &amp; repair of 3 phase pumps, motors &amp; associated control equipment, including but not limited to VFD &amp; Soft start drives.The role covers Monday to Friday 39 hours per week as well as being part of an on-call rota.Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supporting the Rental Team with temporary installation, repair and refurbishment of submersible and surface mounted pumping equipment, sewage systems &amp; treatment plants.</li><li>As part of a team and lone working supporting a reactive type of work that requires the successful candidate to be quick thinking, and adaptable.</li><li>Isolate, dismantle and inspect pumping equipment.</li><li>Install and commission temporary Rental equipment and all associated apparatus.</li><li>Working in an outdoor environment in different weather conditions daily.</li><li>Work in a confined space environment.</li><li>Driving a company vehicle to the standard required by Xylem Water Solution UK Ltd.</li><li>To undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the job.</li><li>Standard hours of work are 39 per week however a totally flexible working attitude is necessary to meet the client and business needs.  In addition, evening &amp; weekend on-call duties will be necessary on a rotating basis.</li></ul> Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:<ul><li>City &amp; Guilds 2330 Level 3 or industry equivalent.</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2382 18th Edition</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 2391 Inspection &amp; Testing</li><li>Time served apprenticeship.</li><li>ECS/ JIB Gold Skills Card Holder.</li><li>Good knowledge of pumps/motors &amp; 3 phase electrical systems.</li><li>Previous experience working with Generators desirable.</li><li>Full driving licence.</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>Competitive salary &amp; eligibility for company bonus scheme.</li><li>25 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday with increasing entitlement for long service.</li><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>Health care plan</li><li>Company van and phone.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
