In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing both standard and custom electrical control panels that power and operate our specialized equipment. You will work from electrical schematics, diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure that each panel meets design specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our machines by delivering high-quality, precisely built control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical components, wiring techniques, and hands-on experience in panel building or a related field.Shift Available:3rd shift: Monday - Thursday 6:30 PM - 4:30 AMCore Responsibilities:To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.<ul><li>Receive components and materials in the programmed sequence for assembly and testing.</li><li>Assemble and test electrical components with precision using both manual dexterity and appropriate tools.</li><li>Build a variety of in-house standard products, following established procedures and specifications.</li><li>Follow detailed assembly and testing instructions, including color codes, NEC and UL standards.</li><li>Operate hand and power tools, as well as complex jigs and fixtures, to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Record work hours and job activities in the ERP system (currently SAP).</li><li>Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including performing daily 5S and housekeeping audits.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensure equipment is in good working condition.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>3+ years of experience in electrical panel assembly, wiring, or related industrial electrical work</li><li>3+ years of experience reading and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical components, color coding, and wiring techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code), UL standards, and general safety practices.</li><li>Proficient with hand and power tools used in electrical assembly.</li><li>Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.</li><li>Good attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, production environment.</li></ul>WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: Our Total Rewards Program goes far beyond base compensation by providing a more fulfilling work experience and offering a competitive benefits program, including:<ul><li>Generous PTO package and paid holidays</li><li>Generous retirement savings plan</li><li>Customizable health, dental and vision insurance (eligible on first date)</li><li>Career progression plans</li><li>Reward and recognition programs</li><li>Paid parental leave</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Company Wellness Program</li><li>Employee Discount Program</li></ul>***The estimated pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.to $26.00/hr., you will also receive a 15% shift differential for 3rd shift.
