This person will join an experienced team with the main objective leading supplier relationships, market intelligence, and commercial negotiations for BESS, PV Modules, or High Voltage Equipment.  The successful candidate will help Origis Energy navigate strategy, market conditions and make sourcing recommendations for our growing renewable business.    This position will represent Origis at trade shows, build relationships with suppliers and industry leaders and maintain a strategy roadmap for negotiations and terms associated with storage and solar projects. The Senior Manager Equipment Sourcing reports to the Senior Director Procurement and is a regular, full-time position eligible for our generous employee benefits package, including employer-paid heath insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, and other great benefits.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, when applicable, for PV modules, energy storage equipment, and HV equipment; analyze bid results and compile bid evaluations.</li><li>Lead analysis and evaluation of supplier product options and make recommendations for supplier and product selections, including quantifying and managing contractual risk with suppliers.</li><li>Negotiate and contract equipment and service transactions for projects and support the interdisciplinary team across legal, finance, development, operations, technical and other personnel.</li><li>Negotiate and execute master agreements, service agreements, and purchase orders in support of company projects.</li><li>Create forward-looking reports projecting price and technology roadmaps.</li><li>Assist with the project’s financial close process, including providing copies of requested contracts (and exhibits) and compiling responses from OEMs and/or interdisciplinary teams to independent engineering (IE) questions.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate the risk of geopolitical and regulatory initiatives that impact the supply chain and develop the mitigation and/or contingency procurement strategies.</li><li>Synthesis market intelligence with internally gathered intelligence to perform forecasts for major equipment</li><li>Facilitate the execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) with prospective suppliers/partners and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with OEMs.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of five (5) years of related experience; experience in renewables and energy storage development.</li><li>Deep understanding of the renewable supply chain, BESS, PV Module, and High Voltage Equipment suppliers.</li><li>BS in STEM or MBA, or significant experience in technical procurement</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Deep understanding and ability to read, write and negotiate contracts.</li><li>Experience in global sourcing and international negotiations</li><li>Familiarity with the exportation/importation of equipment/materials</li><li>Experience with a solar energy developer or solar EPC contractor</li><li>Experienced in financial analysis including price forecasting and reporting</li><li>Familiarity with evolving quality factors and major trends within the renewable energy industry</li></ul> Key Attributes for Success<ul><li>Demonstrates and upholds the Origis Core Values as outlined.</li><li>Detail-oriented, highly organized.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills; polished &amp; professional.</li><li>Customer Relationship Management.</li><li>Strategic thinker.</li><li>Creativity in problem solving.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and manage tight timelines.</li><li>Effective in managing multiple stakeholders and within cross functional team.</li></ul>Location              Austin, TX (preferred) or Miami, FL; (Remote may be considered)Travel                  As needed, 20-30% travelJob Level             Senior Manager – no direct reports<div>Origis Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOC).
