Then keep reading - you’ve come to the right place.<h2>Role Description</h2>Form Energy is hiring a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Designer to bring management of our models and 3D modeling in-house to improve efficiency and shorten design time. In this essential role, you will contribute to our mission by creating precise technical drawings and plans that support Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects for our first factory manufacturing lines. You will take conceptual designs and model the scope in Revit, working in partnership with our Engineering, Operations, and Construction teams at Form Factory 1. This role is based in Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. Relocation assistance is avilable. <h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Create detailed technical drawings and plans using Autodesk Revit for MEP systems, including ductwork, piping, plumbing, and electrical layouts.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate design concepts and project specifications into accurate schematics and layouts.</li><li>Manage and maintain the 3D models on the Autodesk ACC platform, including keeping models up to date with as-built information.</li><li>Use Navisworks to update and create 3D models of the building and confirm installed conditions of past projects.</li><li>Review and revise drawings as necessary to ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and reflect field conditions.</li><li>Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions, and participate in project meetings to discuss design progress.</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>Minimum of 1-3 years of applied experience in drafting or BIM modeling.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in using Revit and Navisworks for technical drafting.</li><li>Practical experience in creating and revising detailed drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing (MEP) systems.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently on projects.</li></ul> #LI-Onsite #LI-LN1Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
