AECOM is actively seeking a creative, motivated, and self-driven Transportation Planner to join our dynamic and highly technical team of planners and engineers in our Dubai, UAE office.Our planning team plays a key role in delivering major urban development and infrastructure projects across the Middle East — driving innovation, sustainability, and smarter mobility solutions.As a Transportation Planner, you will contribute to a wide range of transport planning and engineering studies, including Traffic Impact Assessments, Multi-Modal Transport Master Planning, Traffic Engineering, Capacity Assessments, and Access/Circulation Studies.You will develop essential technical, business, and professional skills through project experience and mentorship.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in preparing transport planning deliverables — including designs, calculations, sketches, and diagrams.</li><li>Build technical expertise using transport planning software such as Synchro, SIDRA, and GIS. (VISSUM is a plus).</li><li>Contribute to high-quality design outputs by applying both creative and technical knowledge within project timelines.</li><li>Work under supervision to deliver tasks according to agreed budgets and schedules.</li><li>Participate in design progress and coordination meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Proactively seek information, opportunities to learn, and ways to add value to projects.</li><li>Apply theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills to real-world planning challenges.</li></ul>
