Define planning and methodologies to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:                         <ul><li>Designing heat exchangers to meet customer requirements, at time including ASME code and other governing body specifications</li><li>Performs ASME calculation for Heat Exchanger design</li><li>Support manufacturing by resolving engineering related issues</li><li>Work with drafting to develop drawings &amp; bills of materials</li><li>Test Lab work including thermal testing of Heat exchangers, pressure testing, etc.</li><li>Participate in improvement activities</li><li>Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities</li><li>Participation in Cost Savings Projects</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:<ul><li>BS in Mechanical Engineering with strong fluids background</li><li>CAD background</li><li>Proficient in PTC CREO</li><li>Proficient in MS Office Applications</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>ASME code knowledge (Section VIII, Section III, Section V, and Section IX)</li><li>Ability to work in a team</li><li>Project Management Experience</li></ul>Physical Demands:(The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
