Together we can transform the future of energy.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>Join us in leading the change! The Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing account management for key clients and to develop relationships throughout the client organization to grow sales. They will collaborate with executives, business development, lines of business, and internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies and account management plans.  The Account Manager may be assigned from one to several accounts based on customer size and organization and is expected to be on-site at each customer on a monthly basis. This individual will possess strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills and is able to understand complex commercial data, including financial, market and competitive, and the impacts new policies, technologies, and market conditions have on their current clients. Their primary responsibility is growing sales among their assigned clients. How you can make an impact:      Account Planning <ul> <li>Operate in coordination with the Line of Business (LOB) leader and the BD Director for all customer account matters.</li> <li>Develop an account management plan that includes overall growth potential and a tactical plan that defines quarterly objectives for sales growth.</li></ul>Relationship Building<ul> <li>Establish list of key stakeholders within the organization including names, titles, and contact information.</li> <li>Identify an account ambassador that will support EPE internally within the customer culture. The plan shall include both horizontal (across organizations) and vertical growth.</li> <li>Create and execute a stakeholder plan that identifies target relationships to grow within the customer.</li> <li>Develop and grow relationships with the procurement (contract management) organization.</li></ul>Contract and Account Management<ul> <li>Establish a Master Services Agreement (MSA) if feasible.</li> <li>Ensure invoicing is accurate and accounts receivable is current.</li> <li>Ensure Salesforce is current including customer pipeline.</li> <li>Provide routine customer updates to LOB Leader and work in collaboration to grow account.</li> <li>Schedule, prepare and lead Management Business Reviews Meetings (MBR). Include key client stakeholders and key EPE leadership. </li></ul>Organic Growth - Sales<ul> <li>Develop and manage organic growth plan that was developed in account planning.</li> <li>Proactively cross-sell EPE services to other departments and other client locations. Utilize ambassador to help build relationships and identify key opportunities.</li> <li>Support the Operations Team with any proposal management and writing efforts.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Bring your passion, here what’s needed: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.</li> <li>2-3+ years of professional experience as an account manager or related experience</li> <li>1+ years of energy experience working with utilities and renewable energy</li> <li>Knowledge of account management principles.</li> <li>Advanced in the use of Power Point including development of Sales Presentations as well as Microsoft Excel, and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Salesforce or other CRM.</li> <li>Proven sales experience and highly motivated self-starter.</li> <li>Strong organizational, relationship building, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Ability to work well independently and build relationships with other departments and segments to accomplish objectives.</li> <li>Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Flexible with the ability to manage change and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Attention to detail and has high standards on producing quality work. </li></ul>How we support you:<ul> <li>Comprehensive health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, and vision with 100% premium coverage for you.</li> <li>Generous PTO and paid holidays</li> <li>MyShare Employee Ownership Program</li> <li>Work with industry leaders</li> <li>401K, up to a 4% match (100% vested from day 1)</li> <li>Flexible Work including hybrid and remote possibilities base on position.</li></ul>  Travel:  25% domestic travel requiredLocation: Must be located in Austin, TX or surrounding area as this is a hybrid position EPE is an equal opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran employer.
