AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a talented Senior Water Conveyance Project Manager. This position will report to one of the AECOM offices in the United States including but not limited to Boston, MA; Buffalo, New York; Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; Germantown, Maryland; Rocky Hill, CT; or Chelmsford, MA.  It is expected that this role will provide support to projects throughout the United States.The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic civil or structural engineer with experience: new pipeline design and installation, existing installations, failure and forensics analysis, condition assessment, and rehabilitation.This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an established and successful local and national group that offers a diverse range of technical challenges and career development opportunities. Join our growing pipeline design practice and help us continue to deliver innovative and successful projects!Responsibilities may include but not limited to:<ul><li>Technical lead for pipeline rehabilitation and design.</li><li>Interface with client and regulatory agencies.</li><li>Collaborate with other pipeline design experts to develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.</li><li>Conduct field inspections and pipeline condition assessments to ensure compliance with design standards and regulations. Assess pipeline for remaining useful life and recommend renewal treatments.</li><li>Work on projects related to pipeline failure analysis and pipeline forensics analysis.</li><li>Work on projects from planning through design and construction services, for new and rehabilitation pipe designs, for water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure.</li><li>Work on projects related to pressure pipe design and pipe stress analysis.</li><li>Understanding of construction methods, such as open-cut and trenchless (micro tunneling, jack and bore, etc.) for sewer and water infrastructure.</li><li>Provide technical guidance to AECOM project teams and mentoring junior level staff. Quality reviews of work by other AECOM project teams.</li><li>Technical writing, reviewing, and providing clear, concise input to investigations, memorandums, engineering reports and documentations.</li><li>Prepare engineering services proposals, fee estimates, and schedules.</li><li>Stay current on industry trends and advancements and regulations in pipeline design and engineering. Disseminate current industry trends and advancements to junior staff.</li><li>Participation in relevant industry organizations committees for standards and/or best practices development.</li><li>Participation in AECOM’s Technical Practice Network groups, with opportunities for leadership.</li></ul>
