In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee complex transportation projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.</p><ul><li>Lead and manage mid- to large-size transportation projects, overseeing all aspects of project lifecycle</li><li>Provide specialized technical input and expertise for transportation studies and designs</li><li>Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients, demonstrating innovative problem-solving skills</li><li>Perform quality control reviews of work developed by team members, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations</li><li>Participate in the development of technical proposals for new projects</li><li>Estimate engineering budgets and schedules for large projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes</li><li>Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in transportation engineering</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations</li><li>Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and the public to obtain necessary approvals and address concerns</li><li>Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues</li><li>Conduct thorough analysis of traffic patterns, capacity needs, and safety considerations to inform project designs</li><li>Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents</li><li>Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to senior management and clients.</li></ul>
