GFL Environmental is looking for a full-time Field Services Supervisor to help support our liquids operations in Thunder Bay, ON. The Supervisor will handle all aspects of day-to-day operations, by utilizing effective communication skills and time management to prioritize and optimize daily production. They will be required to lead and manage a crew of varying competencies and skills sets. Adhering to company policies and procedures, while maintaining all documentation as required. Servicing all Porta and Septic customers in the region.  <h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2><div><div><ul><li>Provide assistance to customers/outside haulers while on site. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Operation of all vehicles and equipment in a safe and proper manner. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain high standard of vehicle conditions. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Conduct pre shift tailgates. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Abide by rules and requirements while on customers or GFL property. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Complete all necessary paperwork ex: daily electronic log book, manifest, BOL’s, rinse out sheets. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Manage and maintain various data management systems. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Equipment checks daily/weekly/monthly. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain P.P.E inventory. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Minor maintenance on equipment as required. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Help provide coaching and training to others. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure coordination with other departments and other shifts to clarify roles and responsibilities. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Manage employee complaints and concerns. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Attend meetings and training as required. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Oversite of employees to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and work in a safe environment at all times. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Participate in the development SOP's, job procedures and investigations. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure all sign-off sheets and memos are completed. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Compliance with all regulatory requirements. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain all staff compliance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Attendance and HR responsibilities to support staff. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Shift work, as needed will be required potential to work day shift, afternoon shift, night shift.
