We are building a new generation of modular, distributed nuclear plants engineered for speed, scalability, and real-world impact.</div><div><br></div><div>We are seeking a <b>Senior Nuclear Engineer</b> to join our core engineering team and drive the analytical rigor behind our microreactor design. This role sits at the intersection of <b>innovation and execution</b>, where complex modeling meets the fast-paced reality of startup deployment. This role will act as both a <b>technical leader and independent thinker</b>, directly influencing design decisions that shape the future of energy.</div><br><br><h3>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and perform complex <b>thermal-hydraulic and neutronics calculations</b></li><li>Independently verify and approve <b>engineering calculations and safety analyses</b> prepared by peers and junior engineers</li><li>Provide <b>expert-level review</b> of design basis documents, licensing submittals, and technical evaluations</li><li><b>Mentor and guide</b> junior engineers in analytical methods and modeling techniques</li><li>Develop and maintain detailed models for <b>reactor systems and accident scenarios</b></li><li>Participate in <b>peer reviews and regulatory interactions</b> as a technical authority</li><li>Contribute to <b>continuous improvement initiatives</b> by identifying gaps and proposing innovative solutions</li><li><b>Adapt quickly</b> to evolving project needs, regulatory changes, and emergent technical challenges</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a closely related discipline.</li><li>7+ years of experience in nuclear systems analysis, safety analysis, or reactor physics.</li><li>Proficiency with at least two of the following codes: TRACE, MELCOR, MCNP, VERA, SCALE, SERPENT.</li><li>Demonstrated experience performing and reviewing complex engineering calculations.</li><li>Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Department of Energy regulatory experience is preferred</li></ul><br>
