Renaissance Fusion (RF) is the first Magnetic Confinement Fusion company in the EU. We are building the first net-energy producing stellarator by combining proprietary innovations in modular design, the manufacturing of next-generation High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnets, and liquid-metal (LM) walls. We are currently looking for a leader for our Automation, Control, and Electrical (ACE) team. In this position you will share and develop your expertise with your colleagues as part of the Engineering as a Service (EAS) department.The EAS team collaborates with RF’s different R&amp;D teams providing highly skilled engineering services for the successful completion of the RF Project. The Vacuum technology group is part of the EAS department. You will directly report to the Vacuum Technology Group Leader.About the Role As a group leader, you will lead a talented team of engineers working in the disciplines of automation, control systems, and electrical engineering. You will ensure that the group will provide solutions and services within these disciplines to meet the requirements provided by the various group leaders and heads. ResponsibilitiesManagement <ul> <li>Lead, manage, and supervise a team of automation, control, and electrical engineers</li> <li>Coordinate and collaborate on solutions that meet the specifications provided by different departments</li> <li>Identify and assess technical requirements across departments in collaboration with other group leaders and heads</li> <li>Manage team activities, workload, set clear objectives, and priorities to ensure alignment with company goals</li></ul>Technical &amp; Project supervision <ul> <li>Address the automation, control, and electrical projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and commissioning</li> <li>Collaborate with other group leaders and department heads to identify engineering needs and define project requirements</li></ul>Strategic &amp; Cultural Leadership <ul> <li>Be the ambassador of Renaissance Fusion's vision within your team, and promote its culture, values (speed, simplicity, fantastic realism, constructive interference and unified force) and policies</li> <li>Prepare and present technical reports and progress for senior management</li> <li>Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) within the team's projects and daily work</li></ul> RequirementsDo not hesitate to apply if you don’t meet all the requirements.
