We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.<h3>Core Responsibilities:</h3>•    Provide technical accounting expertise and analysis on complex topics across the global organization, with particular emphasis on M&amp;A transactions and divestiture activities. •    Conduct research and prepare technical accounting position papers and presentations that clearly support conclusions. •    Monitor and analyze new accounting standards and regulatory developments; assess their impact and lead implementation efforts. •    Assist in the integration of newly acquired businesses, including preparation of opening balance sheets, valuation documentation and other support. •    Collaborate with accounting and cross-functional teams (e.g., Treasury, Tax, Controllership, FP&amp;A, Corporate Development) to operationalize accounting guidance for complex and non-routine transactions. •    Develop, maintain, and align accurate accounting policies; lead policy initiatives and ensure global policies are up to date. •    Train global finance teams on select technical accounting topics. •    Oversee accounting areas including financial instruments, complex estimates, treasury transactions, and the accounting for acquired or divested businesses. •    Support quarterly close and reporting processes, including ownership of certain SEC disclosure areas and footnotes in Xylem’s Form 10-K and Form 10-Q. •    Interface with internal and external audit for areas of responsibility. •    Perform special projects and analyses as assigned by the Director of Global Technical Accounting. •    Identify and promote efficiencies within the technical accounting process to create a best practices environment. •    Develop a culture of continuous improvement, finance transformation, automation, training, and success in the finance organization.High Impact Behaviors: • Strategic Vision and Foresight: Senior professionals should have the ability to develop and communicate a clear vision for the future, anticipate trends, and prepare the organization to adapt to changes. CPA required.  •    5+ years of experience in a combination of public accounting and corporate technical accounting and/or reporting roles. •    Experience in accounting for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures is preferred, including hands-on involvement in all transaction phases from due diligence to post-close integration.  •    Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting matters, with proven experience conducting research and drafting position memos. •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams effectively. •    Experience collaborating across departments and serving as a subject matter expert on technical accounting topics. •    Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. •    Computer skills necessary, preferably Microsoft Office (Excel, Word &amp; PowerPoint).  Knowledge of GAAP research tools, SAP, OneStream and Workiva Reporting a plus.  Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
