The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.Key accountabilities: <ul><li>Plan, lead, and oversee construction activities based on signalling and functional documentation.</li><li>Manage the Civil Construction team and subcontractors for ETCS L2 project delivery and coordinate all construction site activities according to the project plan.</li><li>Manage the ITP Process and ensure ITPs are signed off by stakeholders in a timely manner.</li><li>Optimize project resources, both internal and external, to meet milestones and deliverables.</li><li>Collaborate with the HSE team to define site safety requirements and implement HSE initiatives in compliance with regulations.</li><li>Ensure HSE compliance, defining site safety requirements, and implementing initiatives.</li><li>Provide regular progress reports on construction activities and resource performance evaluations.</li></ul>Education and experience:<ul><li>5+ years in civil supervision in a rail and civil construction environment</li><li>Construction White Card</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.</li><li>Current Class A Drivers License</li><li>Experience in concrete and foundation works.</li><li>Demonstrated competency in implementing Health &amp; Safety initiatives.</li><li>Outstanding planning and organisational skills.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment.</li><li>Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.</li></ul>At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
