If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p>We are seeking a Lead Fabricator</p><p>As a Lead Fabricator (Welder Fabricator) you repair, assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to specifications.</p><p>Your Role:</p><ul><li>Read, interpret and follow basic to complex blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create various products, fixtures and equipment.</li><li>Provide solutions to solve complex technical manufacturing and fabrication problems.</li><li>Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements.</li><li>Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes.</li><li>Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.</li><li>Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods.</li><li>Identify equipment defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.</li><li>Provide general shop support activities in support of machine shop.</li><li>Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management.</li><li>Perform all work in accordance with highest quality standards and established safety procedures.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.<br><br>Qualifications:<br> </li><li>Ability to design, fabricate and build basic and/or complex structures, supports or framework.</li><li>Ability to Weld using ARC, MIG, TIG processes.</li><li>Ability to perform oxy/acetylene torch, plasma arc cutting processes.</li><li>Ability to weld both thick and thin materials (e.g. .020" - 2" Stainless Steel, .030" - 6" aluminum).</li><li>Bending, cutting and welding of tubes and other materials such as thin sheet metal.</li><li>Ability to use manual mill and lathe to produce required components or parts for fabrication projects.</li><li>Utilize various shop equipment and tools such as drill press, brake, shear, bandsaw, notcher, grinder, belt sander, punch and various power tools.</li><li>Operation and proper use of calipers, micrometers, weld gauges, tape measures, scales and other hand tools.<br><br>Preferred:</li><li>CNC, waterjet, plasma cutting experience </li></ul><p>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
