We are on a mission to transition the global energy landscape towards a purely sustainable and emission-free future.<h2>About the Role</h2>We are looking for a Deployment Engineer to aid the successful and reliable deployment of our system on customer sites. This role will start supporting several short term pilot projects, it will then morph into a lead commissioning role for permanent system installation. Fourier engineers work in a hands-on, collaborative environment to solve problems and push progress forward. Qualified candidates should have prior hands-on experience working in an industrial setting helping to ensure customer success.<h2>Roles and responsibilities</h2><ul style=""><li>Responsible for end-to-end operational deployment: from transit to customer site to setup and final acceptance testing</li><li>Responsible for planning and alignment with the customer on technical and implementation requirements</li><li>Ensure site conditions are feasible for system requirements and operational success</li><li>Organize, plan, and execute on site preparation</li><li>Meet and exceed customer performance and safety expectations</li><li>Design and prototype tools to help with deployment</li><li>Be able to effectively communicate and collaborate and partner with the Engineering team to collect and analyze data to improve system performance</li><li>High level of problem-solving ability to quickly debug on-site issues</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Required:<ul style=""><li>B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical, or Equipment Engineering or equivalent</li><li>3+ years of relevant experience</li><li>Hands-on experience in deployment and/or technical program management</li><li>Great communicator and execution ability in high pressure situations</li><li>Comfort working in heavy industry sites</li><li>Willingness to frequently travel to customer sites (50%+)</li></ul>Preferred:<ul style=""><li>Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D) in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field</li><li>Experience in the following areas:<ul style=""><li>Hands-on work with gas and/or water piping</li><li>Analyzing energy systems</li><li>Working with hydrogen or similar gasses</li><li>Experience with troubleshooting Linux based control systems.</li></ul></li></ul><h2>What we offer</h2><ul style=""><li>Fully paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage</li><li>Competitive salary and equity compensation commensurate with experience</li><li>401k</li><li>Diverse and inclusive work environment</li><li>Paid sick days and vacation</li></ul>
