This Senior System Engineer role sits within the IT Ops Engineering team, whose mission is to elevate global IT maturity at Back Market, by delivering robust technical solutions, increasing team productivity, enforcing best-in-class governance, and continuously improving the IT tech stack that supports our rapidly growing, international organization. 💡 Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise &amp; Influence- Act as a senior technical contributor within the Integration Engineering team, providing direction and thought leadership across complex automation and integration initiatives.- Design scalable architectures for IT workflows and systems, and bring clarity to technical choices through strong communication and documentation.- Influence technical strategy within the team and across IT-related stakeholders (Security, Workplace, HR Tech…). Automation &amp; Development at Scale- Build and maintain advanced automation across our internal SaaS ecosystem: Okta, Workday, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian suite, Jamf, and more.- Develop and own tools that enhance system efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support compliance/security needs.- Create and maintain integrations using Workato (or similar platforms), with a focus on scalability, observability, and reliability. Technical Ownership &amp; Delivery- Take end-to-end ownership of key projects: from design and prototyping to implementation and operational hand-off.- Lead incident post-mortems and root cause analysis for internal IT services.- Collaborate across departments to ensure internal tooling meets business requirements and scales with the organization.
