We believe that widespread, decentralized storage is essential to a more resilient and sustainable energy future — come join us.About the RoleThe Director of FP&amp;A will lead Haven’s financial planning and analysis function, owning the company financial model and providing the analytical foundation for strategic decision-making. You’ll be responsible for company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, while also supporting project finance initiatives and cash flow management.This is a highly visible role that works cross-functionally with leadership and department heads to drive financial discipline and transparency. You’ll turn data into insight, helping the business make better, faster, and more informed decisions.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis</li><ul><li>Own and continuously refine Haven’s company-wide financial model.</li><li>Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.</li><li>Conduct monthly budget vs. actual reviews, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.</li><li>Prepare management and board-level materials that communicate financial performance and strategy.</li></ul><li>Operational Support</li><ul><li>Partner with operations, sales, and product teams to improve forecasting accuracy and profitability.</li><li>Support project finance modeling and cash flow forecasting for structured capital initiatives.</li><li>Analyze key performance indicators and variance drivers to help business leaders optimize performance.</li><li>Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity across systems.</li></ul><li>Strategic Insights</li><ul><li>Translate financial insights into strategic recommendations that guide company growth.</li><li>Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track performance against goals.</li><li>Provide data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, margin, and capital allocation across departments.</li></ul><li>Board, Investor &amp; Capital Markets Support</li><ul><li>Prepare board-level financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and presentations.</li><li>Partner with the Capital Markets team on financial analyses to support fundraising initiatives.</li></ul></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>7–12 years of experience in FP&amp;A, corporate finance, or investment banking.</li><li>Strong financial modeling skills and deep understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis.</li><li>Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with FP&amp;A or BI tools (e.g., Cube, Mosaic, or Looker) is a plus.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA a plus.</li></ul>Why Join Us?At Haven Energy, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a transformative business to build a more resilient energy infrastructure.
