Joby is seeking a</p><p>Router Shop Technician 2nd shift to support our Composite Manufacturing efforts. You will participate in several aspects of the CNC composite trimming production environment. Hands-on experience and a “get it done" attitude are very important. This internship will be in person at our Marina CA location.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Assist machine operators with fixture setups, loading/unloading, and machine cleanup</li> <li>Assist in organizational projects like CNC cutters and shop tools storage and CNC trim fixture inventory and organization</li> <li>Regularly use hand tools, like power drills and torque wrenches, to setup fixtures</li> <li>Regularly operate heavy equipment, like a forklift and crane, to safely move and organize fixtures ranging from 20lb-1200lbs</li> <li>Perform deburring and cleaning operations on finished, CNC trimmed composite parts</li> <li>Clean and organize shop space daily</li> <li>Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards</li> <li>Establish and continuously improve a well-organized and safe environment for all workspaces</li> <li>Do a variety of supporting tasks that are needed to get the job done</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED Equivalent </li> <li>Work schedule Monday- Friday 3:30pm- 12am</li> <li>Ability to lift over 50 lbs. unassisted and stand at a workstation for extended periods (over 4 hours), excluding meals and breaks.</li> <li>Experience in a machine shop environment</li> <li>Hands-on, mechanical attitude, detail-oriented work habits</li> <li>Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skills</li> <li>Effective organizational skills to manage a high volume of shop equipment</li> <li>Experience operating heavy equipment like a forklift and crane</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $31-$42/hour.
