Job Description:The Senior Manager, Logistics Sourcing will be based in Hyderabad, India. In this position, you will report to the Director, Strategic Logistics. ​The Manager, Logistics Sourcing will play a critical role in shaping Nextracker’s global logistics sourcing strategy. This individual will closely collaborate with cross functional teams to develop, implement, scalable logistics sourcing solutions that drive excellence, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction and align with Nextracker sourcing principles. Watch “<a href="https://youtu.be/BtjIN9oHRMY?si=ONfWJ-vFlLZckjrE">Culture is our Passion</a>” to learn more about us.We are looking for someone who demonstrates:<ul><li>Passionate drive to innovate and create</li><li>Integrity to the core</li><li>Enthusiastic customer focus</li><li>Consistent interactive teamwork</li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and top performance.</li></ul>Here is a glimpse of what you will do:<ul><li>Develop and lead strategic sourcing initiatives for achieving Nextracker goals</li><li>Execute end-to-end logistics sourcing strategies covering cost optimization, service quality, capacity planning across all modes of transportation.</li><li>Lead commercial negotiations, contracts, and performance management with Global forwarders, and carriers across Ocean, Air, Last mile trucking and warehousing services.</li><li>Identify, assess, and onboard strategic logistics partners to enhance cost efficiency, capacity and to be competitive in the region.</li><li>Lead regional and global bids for various modes of transportation including developing bid documents, evaluating proposals, and aligning sourcing decisions with global and regional leaders.</li><li>Work closely with legal on Service contracts discussion between Nextracker and service provider to ensure favourable terms, service level commitments and risk mitigation clauses are reviewed and finalized.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, and Project Management teams to design supply chain strategies that optimize landed costs while meeting delivery and customer requirements.</li><li>Closely collaboration with logistics operations and planning to ensure timely execution of high-impact shipments.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement through quarterly business reviews, performance scorecards, and supplier development programs.</li><li>Act as the escalation point for exceptions, resolving issues swiftly in coordination with providers and internal teams.</li><li>Design and implement process enhancements to increase supply chain efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness.</li><li>Stay informed of global trade, customs, and transportation regulations and ensure organizational compliance during shipment execution.</li><li>Able to develop, lead and mentor a strong, motivated team to achieve organizational goals</li></ul>Here is some of what you will need (required):<ul><li>Master’s Degree in Supply Chain management or Logistics from a reputed institute.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience managing multi modal logistics operations and sourcing (Ocean, Air, and Ground transportation) with a leading manufacturing or renewable company.</li><li>A well-developed experience of Asia, Oceania and Middle East marker achieved through managing high-volume or projects in this region.</li><li>Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.</li><li>Highly analytical, commercially savvy, and effective communicator across all levels of the organization.</li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences<ul><li>Experience in managing complex, cross-functional technical projects, balancing timelines, quality, and cost. </li><li>Proven ability to successfully manage a diverse team within and across regions</li></ul>At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
