This role is ideal for someone eager to apply their relevant qualifications to a new role and / or someone with demonstrable Accounts Assistant experience looking for their next challenge.What you'll do:Supporting four sites: Arras (France), Renfrew (Scotland), Heidelberg (Germany) and Norway you will;<ul><li>Actively participate in the company's monthly closing procedures, reporting to the Teledyne group, and the reconciliation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet accounts</li><li>Support the management committee and various departments with management control analyses</li><li>Monthly reporting to the group via Onestream, ensuring adherence to quality and deadline requirements for all four entities</li><li>Reconcile intercompany positions</li><li>Reconcile balance sheet accounts for all entities on a monthly basis</li><li>Participate in monthly accounting closings (reconcile sales, analyse provisions, invoices to be issued, accrued expenses, recording various transactions…)</li><li>Calculate variable elements (bonuses, etc.)</li><li>Management reporting for the executive committee</li><li>Assist tax and legal filings (VAT…)</li><li>Assist both internal and external audits</li><li>General finance support (management of shared mail boxes / adhoc queries)</li></ul>What we're looking for:<ul><li>Accounting training (NC / HNC or qualified by demonstrable relevant account/finance assistant experience)</li><li>Analytical and summarizing skills</li><li>Understanding of foreign environments (German, English, American standards (preferred but training can be provided)</li><li>Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise</li><li>Good interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities</li><li>Fluency in English, additional languages are a bonus</li></ul>Range of benefits include.<ul><li>Salary sacrifice-led pension plan that matches employee contributions up to 7%.</li><li>Free life assurance cover at the value of four times basic annual salary.</li><li>25 days holiday per annum plus 9 public holidays.
