GFL is seeking an ambitious and dynamic Territory Sales Manager. The designated individual will be responsible for new business- to- business account development and represent our Liquid Industrial and Hazardous Waste division. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, presenting programs, and meeting a sales quota.  Key Responsibilities:<div><div><ul><li>Generating revenue and meeting sales targets. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Developing and qualifying leads within the respective territory through cold-calling and lead generation.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Handling routine customer problems and interfacing between company and customer.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintaining good working relationships and account management with existing customers and recognizing opportunities to up sell additional services. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Promoting services via daily proactive calls on and off the road with existing and potential customers. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Providing sales strategies, marketing ideas and new concepts, and developing business plans to successfully execute strategies to grow profitable revenue. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Completing waste inventories, collecting pertinent waste information, and sampling of waste at generator sites. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintaining a fundamental understanding of appropriate legislation including Ontario Ministry of Environment Regulation 347, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc., enabling you to successfully promote regulatory compliance to customers. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Preparing quotations, work orders and report activity through the Operation Management System (custom software). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Keeping abreast of products, market conditions and competitive activities. </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills and Key Competencies:<div><ul><li>College diploma or university degree in Sales and Marketing or related technical discipline is (preferred) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>New business-to business (B2B) sales experience  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Hunter sales mentality- goal driven self-motivated  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>2 – 5+ years of outside sales experience  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Industrial or environmental business-to business experience (preferred)  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven ability to take initiative time management skills and display of professionalism. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Creative problem solving and strong team building skills </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Travelling on the road within assigned territory. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>May require overnight trips. </li></ul></div>#GFLTALENT</div></div>  We thank you for your interest.
