You’ll work closely with our energy storage, ground systems, and aircraft integration teams to design and deliver safe, reliable, and scalable charging solutions. This role will suit someone who thrives in cross-functional environments and wants to help set new industry standards for electric aviation.What You’ll Do:<ul style=""><li>Lead the design and development of the aircraft charging architecture, including interfaces between aircraft, ground equipment, and energy systems</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Define system requirements and specifications for high-voltage charging infrastructure</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define, test, and integrate charging technologies</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Develop and validate charging &amp; safety protocols, both on-ground and during operations</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Support certification and compliance efforts by contributing to documentation and testing strategies</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Drive continuous improvement in charging efficiency, reliability, and turnaround times</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Stay up to date with industry standards and emerging technologies in electric vehicle and aerospace charging</li></ul>What You’ll Bring:<ul style=""><li>Strong experience in electrical systems engineering, ideally with exposure to high-voltage charging systems</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Knowledge of power electronics, grid interfaces, and energy management</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Familiarity with safety-critical systems and regulatory standards in aerospace or automotive sectors</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Hands-on experience with system integration and testing, including troubleshooting and fault analysis, preferably with experience of ISO 15118</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Effective collaboration skills across disciplines such as mechanical, software, and systems engineering</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Experience with certification processes (e.g., DO-160, ARP4754A) is a plus</li></ul><ul style=""><li>A passion for sustainable technologies and a desire to help shape the future of flight</li></ul>What can you expect from us?We're on a mission.
