About this opportunityPact Recycling have opportunities for Shift Supervisor to join the Production team at our Wacol recycling plant. There are roles available on day shift and night shift, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime on weekends too.The Shift Supervisor has day-to-day accountability for managing the team of Machine Operators, supporting maintenance activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to safely deliver the shift production targets.Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Ensure the safety of all employees through safety briefings and toolbox talks, regular safety inspections and audits of work areas and equipment and ensuring incident and near-miss reporting is completed promptly.</li><li>Work with the Production Manager to deliver on daily and weekly production schedule, achieving optimum production efficiencies and DIFOT.</li><li>Ensure that all Operators understand and follow the Site SOPs.</li><li>Hold Operators accountable for achieving all Quality standards.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining housekeeping standards during their shift.</li><li>Actively participate with meaningful feedback at start up and handover time on all production related activity. </li></ul>
