The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001), process mapping, document control, and internal auditing.</span></div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: </h3><ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with statutory and regulatory  requirements</li><li>Take ownership of quality policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure they are current, accurate, and effectively implemented</li><li>Conduct gap assessments against AS9100D standards and develop corrective action plans</li><li>Lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions to address significant QMS issues using structured methodologies like root cause analysis, and prepare for external regulatory audits by ensuring readiness and collaboration with key stakeholders</li><li>Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance with QMS requirements</li><li>Provide training to employees on quality system procedures and AS9100 requirements</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement and compliance</li><li>Prepare for and support third-party AS9100 certification audits and surveillance audits</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field</li><li>3–5 years of experience in quality systems or compliance roles in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience developing and implementing QMS from the ground up or significantly revising existing systems</li><li>Strong understanding of document control, process auditing, and root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills</li></ul><h3>Above and Beyond Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Passionate about electrifying aviation</li><li>AS9100 Lead Auditor certification, Lean Six Sigma Certification, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer</li><li>Working knowledge of FAA regulatory standards, specifically 14 CFR Part 21</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>Build electric airplanes with us!</b></span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We encourage all driven candidates to apply, even if they do not meet every listed qualification.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We are an equal opportunity employer.
