The ideal candidate has a proven track record of optimizing performance bottlenecks, enforcing good front-end practices. At 3E, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute to the advancement of renewable energy technologies and digitalization.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, test, and maintain robust, performant, and scalable front-end codebase in accordance with design and product requirements</li><li>Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in the application using best practices and techniques</li><li>Use React and Redux Toolkit to build modern, dynamic UIs that are efficient, maintainable, and reusable</li><li>Create reusable components in the internal component system using Material UI</li><li>Design and develop efficient data-intensive pages that can handle large datasets, including table views, charts, and other UI elements</li><li>Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce good front-end practices to ensure quality and maintainability of code</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of developers, scientists, renewable energy architects, electrical engineers, and sales enthusiasts to achieve project goals</li><li>Implement and maintain user management workflows and secure coding practices to ensure security of data</li><li>Maintain a codebase that is easy to understand, modify, and extend, and adhere to coding standards and best practices</li></ul>RequirementsTo fulfil this role we are looking for someone with: <ul><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Front-End Developer, primarily with React</li><li>Proficient using Typescript inside a React codebase</li><li>Experience with CSS-in-JS</li><li>Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques in the context of React</li><li>Good debugging skills</li><li>Product-based experience – supporting and modifying a product through several years – living with the decisions of the past and building on top of them</li><li>Experience with refactoring a codebase as new features are written</li></ul> Bonus points for: <ul><li>Experience with MUI</li><li>Experience with Playwright</li><li>Experience with Highcharts</li><li>Experience with Nx &amp; Vite</li><li>Experience with Docker and Azure pipelines</li></ul>BenefitsOur offices are hidden in the centre of Brussels with a view on a pond, with ducks and a heron bringing a regular visit.
