If you’re passionate about innovation, collaboration, and making an impact, this is your opportunity to thrive.The compensation for this position is between $88,600 and $110,800 annually, based on experience and qualifications.Why Join Us?At Canplas, you’ll work alongside a diverse team of professionals—people-centric thinkers, innovators, and status quo challengers—who share a commitment to excellence and growth.Your ImpactAs Product Manager – Roof Ventilation and Vacuum, you will own and lead all product-related initiatives within our Roof Ventilation and Vacuum Market Segments, driving strategies that shape our future.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Lead product strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive product line strategies aligned with our 5-year growth plan and innovation roadmap.</li><li>Drive lifecycle management: Oversee the full product lifecycle, collaborating with Sales, R&amp;D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve product challenges.</li><li>Champion innovation: Manage product line extensions and new product projects using our established innovation process, ensuring governance and opportunity assessments are met.</li><li>Provide technical expertise: Deliver product training and ensure compliance with codes and standards across North America.</li><li>Support marketing initiatives: Partner with Marketing to create compelling content and campaigns that expand market reach and strengthen brand presence.</li><li>Represent Canplas: Attend national trade shows to enhance brand visibility, gather market intelligence, and engage with customers.</li><li>Voice of Customer: Collaborate with Customer Insight and Innovation teams to capture customer feedback and identify growth opportunities.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Experience: Minimum 5 years of product management experience, ideally within building materials, manufacturing  or related industries.</li><li>Strategic &amp; Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies, conduct market analysis, and manage full product lifecycles.</li><li>Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, standards, and compliance requirements across North America.</li><li>Project Leadership: Proven success in leading cross-functional projects and driving new product development initiatives.</li><li>Communication &amp; Collaboration: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>MBA or advanced degree in Business or Marketing.</li><li>PMP certification considered an asset</li><li>Experience with innovation frameworks and governance processes.</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis tools and product management software.</li><li>Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.</li><li>Previous experience representing a company at trade shows or industry events.</li></ul>Ready to make your mark?
