You will:<ul><li>Serve as a mentor and technical expert for the Quality Engineering team</li><li>Lead and manage strategic quality-focused projects across the organization</li><li>Champion new technologies to advance quality and provide competitive advantages</li><li>Ensure new and existing products meet reliability and performance expectations</li><li>Perform PPAPs for supplier and engineering changes</li><li>Guide quality planning from concept development through new product launch</li><li>Train operators in QA and QC principles and best practices</li><li>Participate on the Material Review Board (MRB)</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions</li><li>Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities and quality teams</li><li>Develop and present quality reports and trend analyses</li><li>Drive failure investigations related to customer complaints, warranty returns, stock evaluations, and CAPAs</li><li>Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Inspection, Distribution, and Product Development teams</li></ul>What You'll Bring:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field</li><li>5–7 years of quality engineering experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment</li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing</li><li>Strong project management and root-cause problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Broad knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, GD&amp;T, blueprint reading, PFMEA, metrology, and quality plan development</li><li>Strong statistical background, including GR&amp;R, SPC, process capability, and DOE</li><li>PPAP and supplier quality experience</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Reliability/Warranty Engineering experience</li><li>ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification</li></ul>​Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>ASQ Certified Quality Engineer</li><li>ISO Lead Auditor certification</li><li>Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification</li><li>Experience in machining and/or mechanical assembly</li><li>Experience with SharePoint list design and maintenance</li></ul>The estimated salary range for this position is $80k to $85k plus bonus.  Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement. #LI-JO2Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
