The Quality Assurance Tech should be able to effectively determine root cause issues and initiate corrective action as needed. This position is also responsible for serving as an overall team member in support of goals and objectives.  Essential Functions<ul><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations</li><li>Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry</li><li>Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations</li><li>Interpret sales, engineering, production and/or quality documentation and apply when inspecting and testing product</li><li>Record quality data and information on appropriate forms and data collection tools</li><li>Provide constructive feedback to internal suppliers on defects and how to improve quality and customer satisfaction</li><li>Perform quality audits of various products and procedures used throughout the facility</li><li>Ability to interact with customers and customer representatives in a professional manner consistent with company policies</li><li>Act as a team player and assist other team members to achieve overall quality, costs, delivery, safety, and teamwork goals</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Regular attendance required</li><li>All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned  </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent education</li><li>Five years or more related experience</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications to complete Essential Functions<ul><li>Demonstrated experience in the use of various mechanical/electrical measuring devices and equipment</li><li>Computer literate and experience with Microsoft products to include Excel and Word</li><li>Five years or more experience in quality inspection activities</li><li>Experience in the use of statistical process control and problem-solving tools</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Demonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand tools</li></ul>Other Physical Requirements*All positions require the ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
