<p>ICON is seeking an Element Design and Application Engineer to lead the development of digital design assets and tools used to design with ICON’s next generation design-to-print design platform, Codex. This role serves as the primary technical liason between Building and Construction Science team and Software teams to establish the digital architecture that translates building designs from industry-standard design tools into ICON's technology environment to support the design, printing, and construction of 3D printed buildings. In this role, you will be responsible for development of the foundational component library, parametric-design framework and integration systems that form the core components of the Codex Platform. Working closely with our Software team, you will develop digital design components and integration systems that enable seamless translation from architectural design to 3D printed construction. This position requires expertise in both construction science and digital design systems to transform how architectural design translates to automated construction workflows.
