We believe potential and determination beat experience.</strong></p><h2>Your role</h2><p>As Finance Manager, you will be key to Cambrium’s success by ensuring financial excellence for multiple entities across operations, compliance, and commercial initiatives. You’ll work closely with our Chief of Staff and cross-functional teams to bring clarity, discipline, and structure into a growing environment.  </p><p>YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES  </p><h2>Financial Reporting &amp; Accounting</h2><ul><li>Work closely with our external accountants and tax advisors on tight deadlines</li><li>Own day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bookkeeping</li><li>Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including reconciling inter-company transactions for our German and French entity</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements</li></ul><h2>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis</h2><ul><li>Support the budget and forecasting process across teams and entities</li><li>Monitor key KPIs and financial metrics, and deliver actionable recommendations</li></ul><h2>Fundraising &amp; Investor Reporting</h2><ul><li>Support non-dilutive funding reporting and applications (grants, loans) and financing rounds</li><li>Help prepare investor reporting materials such as monthly updates and board presentations</li></ul><h2>Your profile</h2><ul><li>Minimum 5 years experience in a finance function, experience in a startup or scale-up is a plus</li><li>Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, Master’s or MBA is a plus</li><li>Excellent Excel skills and experience with startup relevant accounting systems, e.g. Moss/Spendesk, Datev</li><li>You stay structured and detail-oriented, even in a fast-paced startup environment where you need to be hands on</li><li>Ability to communicate financial and regulatory matters clearly to non-finance stakeholders</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English and German</li></ul><h2>What we offer</h2><ul><li>Learning &amp; development program</li><li>Travel card for Berlin/Paris</li><li>Gym membership</li><li>Subsidized lunch + impassioned lunch discussions</li><li>Generous vacation policy</li><li>Regular team events</li></ul>
