You’ll work closely with our VP of Operations to dive into the nuts and bolts of Hoxton Farms, helping to build and scale our finance, compliance, legal and business development operations.You’ll join a world class startup backed by top investors, working at the intersection of biotech, food, and sustainability. As we take our deliciously fatty ingredient to market, you’ll help lay the operational foundations that make rapid growth possible, especially in areas where precision, trust and accuracy matter most.<h2> What you’ll do</h2>You will be deeply involved in the day to day running of the company, from managing key financial models and cap table updates, to maintaining contracts and insurance policies, to supporting investor reporting and business development workflows. You’ll learn from experienced operators and be hands on across finance, legal, commercial operations and IP. This is a perfect role for someone who’s analytical, detail oriented and eager to understand how high growth deeptech companies scale.<ul style=""><li>Support day to day business operations across finance, legal / IP, commercial and compliance.</li><li>Own and maintain key operational documents, including company contracts, NDAs, supplier agreements and insurance policies.</li><li>Support preparation and maintenance of financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.</li><li>Assist with investor updates, financial and KPI reporting.</li><li>Manage cap table updates, option grants and equity workflows (e.g., via Carta).</li><li>Coordinate with external partners including accountants, lawyers, insurers and IP specialists.</li><li>Support business development operations, including CRM updates, pipeline tracking and preparation of commercial materials.</li><li>Assist with intellectual property documentation and ongoing portfolio management.</li><li>Help our accounting team ensure the company meets HMRC, Companies House and other regulatory requirements</li></ul><h2> What we’re looking for</h2>To succeed in this role, you should be highly organised, a strong communicator, and comfortable working with numbers, documents and cross functional stakeholders. You’ll be trusted with sensitive financial, legal and commercial information, so sound judgment, discretion and emotional maturity are essential.
