At the cutting edge of innovation, SMARDT Australia is accelerating product development efforts that deliver substantial energy savings for our customers.We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated team player who has an eye for detail and a drive to 'get it done'.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Develop detailed mechanical designs and drawings using Autodesk Inventor.</li><li>Manage and control the life cycle of design data using Autodesk Vault.</li><li>Prepare BOM and maintain them using Autodesk Vault PDM.</li><li>Design pressure vessels in compliance with ASME and AS1210 codes.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, change requests, and ECO.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and maintenance manuals.</li><li>Carry out and review Engineering calculations to ensure they are consistent with SMARDT’s design intent and the applicable codes.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the manufacturing process.</li><li>Provide assistance to production related to design and BOM-related queries.</li><li>Carry out classical engineering calculations and generate calculation sheets.</li><li>Create 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials (BoMs), work instructions, and technical and commercial proposals as required.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS<ul><li>A minimum of bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering (essential)</li><li>To be a Chartered Engineer (CPEng)</li><li>Proficient in designing shell and tube heat exchangers.</li><li>Expertise in designing sheet metal and structural components.</li><li>Well-versed in designing HVAC systems.</li><li>Adept in conducting thermal analysis.</li><li>Experience with ASME and AS1210 Pressure Vessel Codes is mandatory.</li><li>Familiarity with ASHREA/ANSI/ASME codes and design requirements is desirable.</li><li>Experience with ASME (UHX) and TEMA for pressure vessel and heat exchanger design is required.</li></ul>Software<ul><li>Inventor, AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault PDM</li><li>CFD and FEA Tools</li><li>MS Visio</li><li>MS Project</li></ul> #LI-KH1</div>
