This role is based in our Bermondsey Plant, and reports to the Production Manager.Do not miss the opportunity to join a broad family of people-centric professionals, thought leaders and rapid thinkers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Job SummaryAs a Production Supervisor, you’ll lead a dedicated team to ensure efficient, high-quality production while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to coach and develop team members, optimize workflows, and contribute to achieving plant performance goals.This role will be on the Continental Night Shift on 12 hour shift structure. Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and mentor production team members, conducting performance reviews and supporting development plans.</li><li>Plan and coordinate daily work schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.</li><li>Monitor production quality and collaborate with Operators, Process Technicians, and Quality Control to resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO standards and corporate health and safety policies.</li><li>Maintain accurate reporting in MES (Hydra), Transition Logs, Shift Performance Summary, Kronos, and other systems; sharing applicable updates during shift and team meetings.</li><li>Support troubleshooting of equipment and coordinate with Maintenance and Quality Control for repairs and quality concerns.</li><li>Drive cost reduction efforts by optimizing raw material usage and minimizing scrap.</li><li>Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.</li><li>Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including trials for new tools and lean manufacturing practices.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>High school diploma required; Post-Secondary education in Engineering or Business is an asset</li><li>3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, plastic injection molding experience is an asset</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP (SAP) and MES systems preferred</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, lean manufacturing principles, and safety regulations</li><li>Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across all levels</li><li>High attention to detail</li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
