Our work environment is open and you will be encouraged to do what you are best at – every day.  How you'll make an impact<ul><li>You will be responsible for Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems for HVDC electrical products &amp; electronic hardware, including enclosures, thermal management solutions, and product structures, from initial concept through to production.</li><li>You will be responsible for part design &amp; calculation, preparing 3D CAD models &amp; related drawings (in NX), Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including bills of materials (BOM) and technical Data sheets / reports in Teamcenter (PLM)</li><li>Collaborate with other engineers (e.g., Hardware, component, software) &amp; participate in technical and cross functional design reviews and verifications, implementing modifications to elevate product quality</li><li>Engage with Suppliers &amp; customers to capture and incorporate their feedback into design solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction.</li><li>Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, selecting optimal materials and components.</li><li>You will be living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions whilst caring for your colleagues and the business.</li></ul>Your background<ul><li>You hold Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Master’s or higher degree is a merit.</li><li>A minimum of 2 years’ experience in product design desired.</li><li>Proficient skill at using 3D modeling/CAD experience, Preferably in NX.</li><li>Experience with the PLM tool (Teamcenter) is an added advantage.</li><li>Well reading mechanical drawing, and rich experiences on drawing and review with good knowledge and work experience of Sheet metal design and calculation</li><li>Experience and Knowledge of electronic hardware domain is a plus</li><li>Basic Knowledge in GD&amp;T, Standard part selection and Surface treatment.</li><li>Knowledge of insulating materials, metal &amp; alloy, and corresponding processing technique</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
