Success in this role depends on close collaboration with internal teams, including engineering production, and project management, as well as clear and professional communication with customers.**This role will focus on servicing Fort Valley, GA, with additional coverage throughout the area** Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on Xos vehicles and subsystems including HV battery, drive system, charging components, and auxiliary systems.</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle uptime, reliability, and performance.</li><li>Utilize diagnostic tools, electrical schematics, and test equipment to identify issues and verify proper system functionality.</li><li>Diagnose and report on design, quality, and reliability concerns observed by providing detailed feedback to Xos engineering and quality teams. </li><li>Translate customer-reported issues into actionable technical findings and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.</li><li>Document all service activities, issues, and resolutions in accordance with company standards within Xos ticketing system (HubSpot).</li><li>Provide technical guidance and training support to customer technicians as needed.</li><li>Maintain a professional and proactive presence at the customer facility serving as the primary onsite technical representative for Xos.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engineering, production, quality, and project management to address field performance and design improvements.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with all safety procedures particularly when working with high-voltage systems.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of Xos and its customers.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>4+ years of hands-on experience in electric vehicle, heavy truck, or automotive maintenance and repair.</li><li>Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, battery management, and electric drive systems.</li><li>Familiarity with diagnostic software, electrical schematics, and test equipment.</li><li>Good computer skills to be able to report on ticket diagnosis and resolution progress; proficiency in Google Suite applications.</li><li>Technical or vocational certification in automotive or electrical systems preferred.
