You’ll combine forecasting expertise, communication skills, and on-the-ground presence to deliver real-time insights that help customers make better operational decisions in dynamic environments.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Serve as the lead on-site meteorologist for international weather-sensitive events.</li><li>Analyze and interpret real-time data from the Tomorrow.io platform (radar, models, sensors) and translate it into actionable insights.</li><li>Work closely with remote meteorologists and internal teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in weather communication.</li><li>Support customers globally through:</li><ul><li>Forecasting and writing weather briefings.</li><li>Issuing weather hazard alerts.</li><li>Leading weather briefings and providing direct communication (chat, email, calls).</li><li>Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers, becoming an integral part of their operational decision-making process.</li></ul></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>BSc or higher in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of operational meteorology experience, including mesoscale and synoptic forecasting, preferably in a sports and/or live entertainment capacity.</li><li>Expertise in convective, winter, and tropical weather forecasting across multiple global regions.</li><li>Strong analytical and interpretive skills, able to turn data into clear guidance quickly.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication; confident presenting to customers and leadership teams.</li><li>Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.</li><li>Experience supporting sporting, aviation, or transportation operations is highly preferred.</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel internationally at a significant frequency throughout the year (approximately 70–90%).</li></ul><hr>Tomorrow.io is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
