The OpportunityWe are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who loves building new products in an iterative and fast-moving environment. In this role you will be bringing our state-of-the-art AI models to farming operations around the world. Our users include growers, packhouse managers, fruit exporters and business decision makers.You will collaborate closely with our product team to gain a deep understanding of our users - to bring them the features they want the most.  You will play a key role in our effort to deliver technology that solves some of agriculture's hardest problems. What you’ll do<ul><li>Build and scale the platform (web, mobile and our external api) to handle Aerobotics’s growth and ambitious mission.</li><li>Own the development of new customer-facing features and product experiences end-to-end</li><li>Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and agronomists to release well-rounded products which add value to our customers.</li><li>Contribute to the long term technical strategy of our products and system.</li></ul> What you’ll need<ul><li>5+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies</li><li>Highly proactive &amp; critical approach to problem solving</li><li>Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines</li><li>Ability to work in-person with our team 3 days a week</li><li>Proficiency with JavaScript, React, and other web technologies</li><li>Proficiency with some backend language (we use Python)</li><li>Some experience with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL</li><li>Some experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks like React Native</li><li>iOS mobile app experience is a bonus</li><li>Strong motivation to make an impact in AgTech</li></ul> Application Process<ol><li>Submit your CV and a clear motivation for Aerobotics.</li><li>Preliminary virtual interview with our Head of People.</li><li>Technical Interview &amp; problem solving session</li><li>Final Interview </li><li>References and background checks.</li></ol> </div>

Where we are based: Right now we have 2 main offices in Cape Town and Los Angeles, in addition to this we have Sales Managers on the ground across the world - working remotely and mostly spending their days with our growers.
