Providing support to manufacturing by analysing crude raw materials, in-process, and finished products - solvent and refrigerant analysis; must be willing to work weekends and the afternoon/night/split shift; duties include, but are not limited to:  Key Responsibilities:• Successful candidate will perform a variety of analytical tests on samples, including refrigerant analysis• Write up tests performed and log results in computer database• Maintain records and results of all tests performed• Ability to work independently and perform troubleshooting as needed• Communicate and liaise with other departments• Know and apply good laboratory practices• Must be safety conscious, including housekeeping to maintain a safe work area• Maintain good working relationship with co-workers, management and customers• Some overtime required• Other duties as requested by Supervisor Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Chemical Technician Diploma (or related field of study) with general knowledge of lab equipment (e.g., GC, GC/MS, ICP, UV/VIS, Karl Fischer and wet chemistry); excellent organizational skills; good communication skills (both written and oral).  We thank you for your interest.
