About the RoleThe Waste Processing Technician is responsible for the safe handling, receiving, consolidating, and processing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials within the processing facility. Materials may include used oils, filters, aerosols, flammable liquids, detergents, and a variety of industrial or retail waste streams, including damaged products.This entry-level role requires a strong safety mindset, solid work ethic, and the ability to perform moderately labour-intensive and repetitive tasks in a warehouse environment. Processing Technicians at this level are developing foundational skills that support progression through the technician pathway, including accuracy in receiving, understanding waste streams, and safe operation of equipment.Candidates should demonstrate a desire to learn, improve, and contribute to continuous improvement within the facility.
