The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&amp;C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p>Our Central-West Orana REZ Project is currently seeking <b>Dogmen and Riggers</b> to share their expertise with our transmission line laydown team.</p><p></p><p>Successful candidates will be required to travel and live in Merotherie, NSW on a 14/7 roster, working up to 12 hour days.</p><p></p><p>Camp facilities include dry and wet mess, recreational activities room, covered sports field, outdoor sports field, gym, medical centre, BBQ areas, community room and an onsite convenience store, in addition to a competitive remuneration package in accordance with the Acciona Construction Australia NSW Transmission Enterprise Agreement 2024 – 2028.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Safe handling, movement, and storage of transmission line materials and equipment</p></li><li><p>Carrying of safety checks on slings, chains and hooks</p></li><li><p>Attaching lifting gear to loads including slings, shackles, spreader bars</p></li><li><p>Assisting with assembly of transmission structures</p></li><li><p>Storing and stacking materials in warehouse to prevent damages</p></li><li><p>Spotting and communicating with crane truck drivers and warehouse personnel</p></li><li><p>General labouring activities and assisting trades</p></li></ul><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Required Skills and Competencies</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><b>Minimum Skills and Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role</li><li>Experience in large scale infrastructure/renewable projects highly desirable</li><li>High Risk Work License – DG, RG - additional tickets such as telehandler and forklift beneficial</li><li>Construction white card</li><li>Drivers license and own vehicle</li><li>Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check</li><li>Exceptional communication skills and safety standards</li></ul><p></p><p>We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
