You will be a key member within the Production team, working directly with technicians, manufacturing engineers, test engineers, and production planning.Role Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform complex build, test, and integration operations which will include materials preparation, precision hand assembly, bonding, and harness routing.</li><li>Read, understand, and execute work instructions to build advanced and precise electrical/mechanical assemblies</li><li>Take ownership of and maintain as-run work instruction documentation</li><li>Collaborate with engineering to develop work instructions and review engineering for manufacturability</li><li>Analyze build processes and work with engineering to increase efficiency</li><li>Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.</li><li>Perform other duties as necessary.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years related experience manufacturing high-precision Spacecraft Components, Spacecrafts, or similar</li><li>Ability to read &amp; interpret engineering documentation such as mechanical drawings, GD&amp;T, cable harnesses, and work instructions.</li><li>IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620) or familiarity with aerospace build standards preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, composite assembly/bonding, precision mechanical assembly, and harness wiring/routing.</li><li>To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Capella Employees must be a U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce, as applicable.
